Flavor-Base 2001 - January 8, 2001, Leffingwell & Associates starts shipping the new Flavor-Base. Now includes 2800+ molecular structures. This massive upgrade to the world's most extensive database on flavoring materials and food additives now includes the complete listing of Flavor materials on the FDA & FEMA GRAS Lists, the Council of Europe list plus all flavor chemicals on the EC Register List along with IOFI status. These additions nearly doubles the number of flavor materials that were in Flavor-Base 98 and includes extensive new information on flavor sensory properties as well as Flash Points (in both Co and Fo). Includes references, flavor descriptions and applications from the last 30 years of patent literature.
Now supplied in Two Versions - Basic & Professional.
The Professional version includes molecular structures and other properties for all 2800+ flavor chemicals (and illustrations or photos of the botanicals used in flavorings). The molecular structures may be copied and pasted into the ChemSketch “freeware” program by Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc. for manipulation. This feature allows those interested in mass spectra to easily determine the fragmentation mass of parts of the molecule. In addition, many of the original EC Commission Decisions can be accessed directly in the original publication format as Acrobat pdf files directly from the program. You get both versions with the choice to choose. For more details and demos - Click HERE
